Host your own Moments that Matter afternoon tea to create special moments for patients and families being cared for today at Moya Cole Hospice.

Whether you choose to host your afternoon tea at home, in a local community hall or even in your garden (fingers crossed for sunshine!), we are so grateful for your support.

You can also dedicate your afternoon tea to someone special, giving you and your family and friends a chance to come together, share stories, and remember those precious moments with your loved one.

Host an afternoon tea in memory of someone special

Gather friends and family, share stories, and celebrate the precious moments that you made with your loved one. Everything you need to host you special gathering is in this event pack.

All items are designed to be printed on A4 paper.

We recommend printing your memory tags on good quality, thick paper. If you would prefer to collect your memory tags from either of our hospices, please email fundraisingsupport@moyacole.org.uk and we can arrange a date and time for you to collect them. If you choose to do this we do kindly ask for a £1 donation per paper tag sheet towards our printing costs.

Plan your event early

Pick your date, choose your venue and download our resources to help you get everything sorted. We also recommend setting a donation target for your event.

Set up a JustGiving page

It’s quick, simple and completely secure. Funds go straight to Moya Cole Hospice, meaning you don’t need to worry about handling cash.

Gift Aid can also be added automatically, helping your donation go even further.

You can also download a QR code from your JustGiving page and print it to display at your event.

Send your invitations

Get baking… or buy some treats!

You don’t have to bake from scratch – shop-bought treats are always welcome! Encourage guests to bring something too.

Print off your memory tags

If you’re hosting your afternoon tea in memory of someone special, invite your guests to write a favourite memory of your loved one and hang the tags around your venue.
