Summer Fair Takeover

Join Team St Ann’s on Facebook on Sunday 19th July for our Summer Fair Takeover. Sadly, our annual event can’t physically take place, but we’ll still be giving you a summer spectacular fair, just with a virtual twist!

Our team will take to the Facebook events page and from 10am to 3pm we’ll be hosting a range of fun activities, music performances, raffles and more. The event is free to attend but we do ask that you make donations on the day via our Just Giving page or through Facebook Donate.

On the day we’ll be sharing music videos from actor and singer Greg Kelly plus other local artists.

Alongside our artists, we’ll be hosting a raffle with prizes including:

  • Signed Anthony Martial Manchester United T-shirt
  • Hotel Chocolat Velvetier worth over £100
  • Body Shop Hamper
  • Fully stocked Picnic Basket
  • Sweet Hamper
  • Plus, many more prizes

Raffle tickets cost £5 and for every payment, you’ll receive five entries into the raffle. You can buy these via our Just Giving page and you’ll just need to leave your name and email so our Events Team can contact you if you win any of the prizes. We’ll be drawing our raffle the following day on our Facebook events page and any donations made on the day will earn you entries into the raffle.

Other activities include guessing the number of sweets in a jar, we’ve got the team performing a Tik Tok styled post to make it just a little harder! Our mascot Stan will be making a special appearance to throw wet sponges at our executive team!

Throughout the day we’ll be sharing photos from previous fairs and will also pay tribute to our staff and volunteers who regularly help out at the fairs.

Our Chief Executive, Eamonn O’Neal will share a few welcoming words on the day as we embrace our fundraisers virtually.

European Doctors’ Orchestra Conducted by Peter Stark

The European Doctors’ Orchestra is made up of musically talented doctors from across Europe. They have played together in concerts all over Europe and on 20th October they will be coming together to perform a concert to celebrate the human spirit at The Bridgewater Hall, Manchester.

Several of the musical medics work locally and have had both personal and professional experience of the hospice. We’re delighted that they’ve selected St Ann’s to benefit from the performance, donating all proceeds from the ticket sales to us.

Enjoy the orchestra’s performance which includes a choral piece with the St George’s Singers – one of the finest choral societies in North West England.

So book early to ensure that you get the best seat at The Bridgewater Hall to watch a full orchestra and choir performing three pieces of stirring music in aid of the hospice.

Tickets are £22.50 (£7.50 under 18 and students)

Tickets available from The Bridgewater Hall Box Office in Manchester or telephone 0161 907 9000 or via their website: www.bridgewater-hall.co.uk
