Light up a Life service – St Ann’s Hospice, Heald Green

Latest update

Tonight’s Light up a Life service at our Heald Green hospice is going ahead. This service is outdoors, so please dress for the weather and bring an umbrella.

Hot drinks will be available and merchandise will be for sale inside in our café. We look forward to welcoming you to another beautiful service.

Join our service of remembrance at St Ann’s Hospice, Heald Green. The Light up a Life services are an opportunity to come together in reflection and celebration of the lives of loved ones. We would be delighted if you could join us.

Light up a Life

You’re invited to join our Light up a Life appeal and dedicate a light to remember your loved one. Make a dedication online by adding a light to our Winter Forest, along with a photo, message or memory, and you’ll be able to share your dedication with friends and family online. You can also dedicate a light anonymously if you wish.

When you dedicate a light online, you will be able to choose which service you would like to attend and how many places you would like.

The services

This year the services at the hospice sites will be led by our In-Memory and Legacy Fundraiser. The services will include songs from the choir, words from those in the St Ann’s community, carols, a poem and the lighting of the tree. There will also be a moment of reflection where you can place a decoration on the tree in memory of your loved one.

All Light up a Life dedications received by Friday 22nd November will be recorded in the 2024 Book of Honour, which will be on display at all the services, as well as at both of our hospices next year.

Date and time

Thursday 5th December, 7pm

Location

St Ann’s Hospice, St Ann’s Road North, Heald Green, Cheadle, Cheshire, SK8 3SZ

Please note that this service takes place outdoors.
