Celebration Tree

Dedicate a plaque on our Celebration Tree as a beautiful way to celebrate the people who are special to you.

Our Celebration Tree is a beautiful copper sculpture, displayed in the main reception of our Little Hulton hospice. It offers you a wonderful way to celebrate those who are special to you with a dedicated leaf or plaque.

The tree is decorated with a selection of gold, silver and bronze leaves, as well as a number of bird plaques. The leaves and birds can be engraved with a name to celebrate anyone who has links with Moya Cole Hospice, whether they’ve worked or volunteered here, been a patient, are a current patient or support us in any way.

The tree was installed in 2019 to recognise the 40th anniversary of our Little Hulton hospice, marking the fact that we’ve been providing specialist palliative care to people in Salford for 40 years.

Each leaf or bird plaque you dedicate will enable us to continue providing excellent care and support to local people, when they need it most.

You can dedicate your leaf or bird plaque with a one-off donation or in monthly instalments. It will remain on our tree for a year and after that time we’ll invite you to either renew your donation to keep it on the tree, or take your plaque home. Each leaf will include the wording “In Celebration of” and there is space for your dedication.

There are four types of leaf for you to choose from and a limited number of bird plaques too.

Terms & Conditions
• Each leaf or bird will be engraved with the dedication as written on your order form. We cannot accept in-memory dedication or dates of birth and death.
• A limited number of leaves and bird plaques are available on the Moya Cole Hospice Celebration Tree. In the event the tree is full at the time your form is received your leaf will be added when the next space becomes available. You will be notified in this event.
• At the end of the 12 month period you will be contacted by the hospice fundraising team and offered the opportunity to renew the leaf or bird you have dedicated for a further 12 months. If you do not wish to renew your dedication, your leaf or bird will be returned to you for you to keep. The period begins when your leaf is first displayed.
• In exceptional circumstances, Moya Cole Hospice reserves the right to move or relocate the Celebration Tree to another appropriate site within the hospice premises.
