Delivered face-to-face at our Heald Green hospice site.
Cost
£210 per person (covers all three days)
Please note: Attendance is required at all three dates to complete the programme and receive a certificate. If you do not attend one of the days, we will not be able to provide a full or partial refund. If you would like a refund for this course you would need to notify us 30 days prior to the first day of training, otherwise no refund will be provided.

Course details
Moya Cole Hospice’s 3-Day Palliative Care Course is run by our Education Team and widely supported by our multidisciplinary team, ensuring you are hearing from experts within each area and giving delegates the opportunity to freely ask questions.
The course covers the following topics:
- Symptom Management and Medication – delivered by an Advanced Clinical Practitioner
- Spiritual Needs at EOL – delivered by a Chaplaincy Support Coordinator
- Unconscious Bias – delivered by our Education and Development Manager
- Lymphoedema – delivered by a Lymphoedema Specialist
- Homelessness in Palliative Care – delivered by a Homeless Palliative Care Coordinator
- Palliative Care Emergencies – delivered by a Consultant
- Dementia at EOL – delivered by our Education Team
- Advanced Care Planning – delivered by a Consultant
- Grief and Bereavement – delivered by our Counselling Team
- Street Drugs – currently supported by Change Grow Live
- Goal Setting – delivered by a Rehab Leader and OT
- Frailty at EOL – delivered by an Advanced Clinical Practitioner
- Communication Skills – delivered by our Education Team
- Oral Care at EOL – delivered by a Mouthcare Specialist

Certification
A certificate of attendance will be awarded to delegates who attend all three days and complete a programme evaluation.
