Spanish Three Peaks Trek

The Challenge

  • Conquer three of Spain’s highest peaks including Mulhacén – the highest peak in mainland Spain!
  • Explore the Sierra Nevada National Park, the largest national park in Spain
  • Trek through lush valleys rich in flora and fauna
  • Push your boundaries and ascend over 3000m in three days

Distance: Approximately 43km

Fitness: This challenge has been graded as challenging but achievable with training beforehand. A full training guide will be provided on sign up.

Thank you St Ann’s Hospice Heald Green

On Saturday 13th September we will be hosting a celebratory event to say thank you to our current hospice site in Heald Green. It has been home to our organisation for the last 54 years and before we move to our new building we want to say a proper thank you and goodbye.

Venue: St Ann’s Hospice, St Ann’s Road North, Heald Green, Cheadle, Cheshire, SK8 3SZ

Time: 11am-12.30pm or 1.30pm-3pm (These are repeated sessions)

There will also be an opportunity to tour the current hospice* and see the progress of the new hospice construction.

*The hospice is open to patients and their loved ones which will dictate which rooms we are able to show you on the day.

Great Manchester Run 2026 (10km and Half Marathon)

Join our team in the 23rd year of the iconic Great Manchester Run on Sunday 31st May 2026!

The epic 10km or half marathon challenge is a highlight of our events calendar each year and an amazing way to support Moya Cole Hospice.

Anyone is welcome to come and join our team and take on the 10km or half marathon.

Charity places

For 2026, we have a number of discounted charity places available for the 10km and the half marathon for runners to claim. Every kilometre run and pound raised for Moya Cole Hospice will make an incredible impact on the services we are able to provide to local people affected by life-limiting illnesses. 

If you claim one of our discounted places, we ask for the following:

  • 10km: Registration fee of £5 to secure your place, with an aim to raise £200 for the hospice
  • Half marathon: Registration fee of £10 to secure your place, with an aim to raise £300 for the hospice

Registration fees and sponsorship will help us to raise vital funds that we need to ensure we can continue to provide our vital services to thousands of people each year at a time when they need them the most.

St Ann’s Hospice is becoming Moya Cole Hospice

On Wednesday 1st October 2025, we will be changing our name from St Ann’s Hospice to Moya Cole Hospice. As this event is taking place after 1st October, you can expect our name and branding at the event to look different.

TrustFord Charity Test Drive

Take the wheel. Help your community.

Take a spin in a new Ford car or van at St Ann’s Hospice, Heald Green. For every test drive taken on the day, Ford will donate £30 towards St Ann’s Hospice* thanks to TrustFord Wilmslow’s Drive4URCommunity initiative.

All you need to do is turn up and take a spin! There’s no need to pre-book, but please register your interest at the link below.

Tea and coffee will be available to buy whilst you wait and there will be an opportunity to have a close-up look at the new hospice building.
