Salford Red Devils Takeover Day

We will be holding the Salford Red Devils takeover day on Sunday 16th July (Salford City Stadium
1 Stadium Way, Eccles, Salford, M30 7EY)

The takeover event will take place from 12:30pm and the match against Leigh Leopards with kick off at 3pm with a special match ball presentation with the game finishing at approx. 4:45.

There will be lots of activities going on ahead of the game including:

  • Fun Fair
  • Entertainment on stage
  • Face Painting
  • Ice cream vans
  • Raffles – including a match shirt signed by the players
  • Soak a player with a sponge
  • Meet Stann and Diablo (mascots)

Salford Red Devils and their merchandise supplier have between them designed a special shirt especially for St Ann’s Hospice and the takeover day. The shirts will be available for general sale (price TBC) and £5 from each shirt sale will be donated to St Ann’s.  The players will also wear them to warm up in pre-match.

Tickets can be purchased here and a donation to St Ann’s Hospice can be made when making a ticket purchase.

 

St Ann’s Hospice Shop Volunteer Taster Session – The Big Help Out

As part of The Big Help Out we are offering volunteer taster sessions at six of our charity shops.

The taster sessions are two hours, either from 10am-12pm or 2-4pm. They will take place every Thursday until 8th June.

This is a great opportunity to share existing skills, learn new skills and meet new people in your local area, all whilst doing your bit to support St Ann’s Hospice.

The taster sessions are taking place at the following shops:

  • Heald Green
  • Stockport
  • Edgeley
  • Sale
  • Altrincham
  • Little Hulton

St Ann’s Hospice Edgeley shop presents a Fashion Show at Cheadle Social Club.

Stylish clothing for all, accessories, gifts, Boohoo items, raffle and much more. Come and join us for a fun evening.

Manchester Midnight Walk 2023

This year we’re asking you to glitter and glow for St Ann’s Hospice and bring some sparkle to a night to remember. We can’t wait for you to join us at Manchester Cathedral, to raise money for St Ann’s, enjoy the live entertainment and light up Manchester city centre once again.

See your city in a new light.  Take on an exciting challenge and walk 10km through Manchester’s streets at midnight.

Christmas tree recycling collections

We’re working with JustHelping again this winter to collect trees from certain Greater Manchester postcodes, and welcome a donation to the hospice in return.

This year we have expanded our collection area and added 14 new postcode areas! We can now collect trees from:

Register your tree

You’ll be able to register your tree collection from Tuesday 15th November 2022 until Sunday 8th January 2023 via the JustHelping website.

Collection dates

Your tree will be collected by our volunteers between 12th and 15th January 2023.

Distribution Centre Sale

Bargain hunters are in for a treat as we host another of our popular £1 sale at our Distribution Centre.

We’ll have a range of clothing and bric a brac (homeware, toys, games, books, DVDs, CDs and more) on sale! 

Our Distribution Centre is located at Unit A1, Bankfield Industrial Estate, Coronation Street, Reddish, SK5 7SE.
