Light up a Life service – St Ann’s Hospice Heald Green

Join our service of remembrance at St Ann’s Hospice, Heald Green on Thursday 7th December at 7pm. Please note that this service takes place outdoors.

You’re invited to join our appeal and dedicate a light to the people close to our hearts and the memories we’ll treasure.

When you dedicate a light online, you will be able to choose which service you would like to attend and how many places you would like.

All dedications received by the 24th November will be recorded in the 2022 Book of Honour, which will be on display at all of the services and in our hospices at Little Hulton and Heald Green next year.

Christmas tree recycling collections

We’re working with JustHelping again this winter to collect trees from certain Greater Manchester postcodes, and welcome a donation to the hospice in return.

This year we have expanded our collection area and added 14 new postcode areas! We can now collect trees from:

M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, M6, M14, M15, M16, M17, M19, M20, M21, M22, M23, M27, M28, M30, M31, M32, M33, M38, M41, M44, M50

SK1, SK2, SK3, SK4, SK5, SK6, SK7, SK8

WA14, WA15

Register your tree

You’ll be able to register your tree collection from Tuesday 15th November 2022 until Sunday 8th January 2023 via the JustHelping website.

Collection dates

Your tree will be collected by our volunteers between 12th and 15th January 2023.

 

St Ann’s Hospice Festival Choir

This Sunday, 4th December at 7:30pm, St Ann’s Hospice Choir are holding their annual Christmas concert at Stockport Town Hall.

Tickets cost £16/£17 and are available from www.hospicechoir.org or on the night (subject to availability)

Bargain hunters are in for a treat as we host a Christmas sale at our Distribution Centre.

We’ll have a range of Christmas decorations, books, housewares and bric a brac on sale! 

Our Distribution Centre is located at Unit A1, Bankfield Industrial Estate, Coronation Street, Reddish, SK5 7SE.
