Three committee events raise over £4,500 for Moya Cole Hospice
The events were held by our Heatons and Reddish, Little Hulton, and Heald Green volunteer fundraising committees
Over £4,500 has been raised by three Moya Cole Hospice volunteer fundraising committees in the last month.
The Little Hulton committee, Heald Green committee, and the newly formed Heatons and Reddish committee each held a separate event.
The Little Hulton and Heald Green committees each held a Quizmasters event, and the Heatons and Reddish held a Ballroom and Latin Dance event.

Our committees do an incredible job of organising and running events on behalf of Moya Cole Hospice. The Heald Green committee marked their third annual Quizmasters evening and saw approximately 100 people attend the event.
Lynn Partridge, member of the committee, said, “We had a fantastic evening at the Cheadle Hulme Conservative Club. We had lots of fun and raised lots of money, through the quiz, raffles, and an auction. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. I can’t wait for the committee to host another Quizmasters event in the future.”
Due to the success of Quizmasters in Heald Green, the Little Hulton committee followed suit and organised their own Quizmasters event, held in the Royal British Legion in Boothstown. The event was a “great success” according to members of the committee.
The Heatons and Reddish committee held their first-ever event as they were formed earlier this year. They organised a Ballroom and Latin American Dance evening. It was organised with the Hartland School of Dance.
According to committee members, everyone who attended had a wonderful night of dancing in what was an event tailored to all skill levels.
