The Heatons and Reddish Volunteer Fundraising Committee are proud to present their first event, a Ballroom and Latin American Dance evening on behalf of Moya Cole Hospice
Learn the basic steps of Ballroom and Latin American Dance with Hartland School of Dance.
The dance evening will take place on Wednesday, June 3rd at Grove Park Function Suite, Manchester Rugby Club, in Cheadle Hulme. The evening will begin at 7pm with a 6.30pm arrival time
Speaking about the Ballroom and Latin Dance evening, member of the Heatons and Reddish committee, Cecil Lowry said:
We got in touch with my wife’s friend Sue who runs the Hartland School of Dance. We used to attend her Ballroom and Latin American dance classes, and I felt it would be a great idea to do an evening for beginners Cecil Lowry, Heatons and Reddish Volunteer Fundraising Committee Member
Cecil signed up with the Heatons and Reddish committee as he is very passionate about Moya Cole Hospice as both his parents were cared for by the team at Heald Green.
“The service and care they received by the team was absolutely superb,” Cecil said.
“We have about seven members in the committee at the moment. We’ve only just started and we meet once a month at Heaton Moor Rugby Club. We’re all very excited for this first one and we are all looking forward to it,” he said.
Community Fundraiser at Moya Cole Hospice, Samantha Lanigan said:
The Heatons and Reddish Volunteer Fundraising Committee have only been together a number of weeks, so for them to already be planning their first event is phenomenal. I am looking forward to it immensely and wish them the best of luck as a committee going forward. It is great to see so many passionate people come together to raise funds for Moya Cole Hospice Samantha Lanigan, Community Fundraiser, Moya Cole Hospice
Tickets for the Ballroom and Latin American Dance Evening cost £10 per person. Those who wish to come solo are more than welcome to do so, but are encouraged to find a dance partner on the night.
