We were awarded We invest in people Platinum accreditation in 2024, following Gold recognition in 2021.

Building on our previous Gold status, this reflects our unwavering commitment to cultivating a workplace where people thrive. Over time, we’ve deepened our investment in positive people practices, empowering our teams, strengthening leadership, and fostering a culture of trust, growth, and inclusion. Platinum status is a testament to the values we live by every day.

Platinum is the highest level of accreditation possible to achieve on the We invest in people accreditation framework.

What is Investors in People?

Investors in People (IIP) is a globally recognised standard that assesses how organisations lead, support, and develop their people. It focuses on areas like leadership, culture, wellbeing, and continuous improvement.

Only 7% of organisations assessed achieve Platinum, and at the heart of the accreditation it shows that every single person at Moya Cole Hospice is involved in supporting each other and is doing their best to make work better.

It means that at every level of our organisation, our policies and practices are designed to support, empower, and develop our people.

This commitment is woven into the fabric of our culture – not just in documents, but in everyday actions. Everyone understands the role they play in helping the organisation thrive. There’s a shared sense of purpose, and a continuous drive to improve – whether that’s through collaboration, innovation, or simply looking out for one another.
